A young man has been caught allegedly stealing plantain.
In a video shared by EDHUB, the plantain thief broke into tears while kneeling in front of some of the stolen plantains.
The Plantain owner was captured continuously slapping the young man’s face with her slipper.
According to social media who have a divided opinion about the video, one user wrote, “ An old man goes to the farm to work and plant his crops and a young man goes to steal because he’s hungry……And the internet is saying it’s okay because he’s probably hungry hence the Stealing 🤦🏽♀️. Next thing he moves to Stealing your belongings; Afterall it’s all hunger😩”, another wrote, “Yes, it’s stealing but it’s just food yo. It’s just food”.
Another X user also wrote, “ Oh Ghana, so no one can pay the man off and prevent him from abusing the poor boy. Damn Akuffo Addo has made the heart of Ghanaians dark and evil”.
