Highlife musician Fameye, known for his hit song “Very Soon,” created a memorable scene during his electrifying performance at Danyame Recreational Village, Akwatia-Boadua.
While thrilling the audience with one of his popular tunes, a fan enthusiastically showered him with cash, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
Fameye, however, paused mid-performance to address the situation in a humorous but firm tone. He signaled to the audience and joked, “No one should touch the money unless you’re part of my team.
I didn’t come with you!” His witty remark sent the crowd into a frenzy of laughter
The “Very Soon” hitmaker then resumed his performance with even more energy, showing his gratitude to the fan while ensuring the cash remained untouched.
Fameye, known for chart-topping hits like “Praise,” “Thank You,” and “Nothing I Get,” within the week launched a first-of-its-kind gold-backed merchandise collection.
The initiative positions him as the first Ghanaian and arguably African artiste to combine artistry with the luxury of pure gold.
Titled the Fameye Music Gold Pack, this innovative project is part of Fameye’s broader rebranding effort under the theme “Premium is Here.”
As he transitions into a premium global brand, this move sets him apart from traditional approaches to music merchandising in Ghana, which have largely focused on branded clothing and accessories.
