A viral video has surfaced of some Ghanaian youths destroying an NPP billboard around Kasoa.
In the video shared on X, the Ghanaian youth were spotted busily tearing down a huge billboard of the defeated presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Their action comes after the NPP presidential candidate conceded defeat to President-elect John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking to Ghanaians on Sunday, December 8, Dr Bawumia detailed, “We will not be destructive opposition even though we will subject the next government to strict scrutiny. We will regroup and come back stronger”.
“Let me say the data indicate former president Mahama has won the presidential election decisively. The NDC has also won the parliamentary elections even though we await the final collation of seats”, he boldly stated.
Dr. Bawumia added, “I just called HE John Mahama to congratulate you.”
Meanwhile, Ghanaians are still waiting on the Electoral Commissioner chairperson Madam Jean Mensa to officially declare the results of the 2024 presidential elections.
