A viral video on X shows frustrated polling agents from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) demanding the 500 GH₵ promised to them for their work during the recent elections.

In the video, the agents express their anger and disappointment, calling on the party’s leadership to honor their financial commitments.

In the video, a group of agents is seen expressing their dissatisfaction over the delay in payments, which they say were promised to them for their hard work on Election Day.

The agents, who played a key role in securing votes for the party, are now calling for immediate compensation, urging the leadership to honor its financial commitment.

“Pay us our 500 GH₵!” they shout, clearly upset by the ongoing delay in payments.

We are not giving up on this 500gh payment we worked hard for it, they can’t come and give us 200gh in an envelope to buy our silence

“I plead on Bawumia to intervene and make sure every single agent is paid his or her 500 GH₵,”
