Party agents at the Roman Catholic Church-Kwashiebu have expressed worry as election materials arrive at the location without a police escort.
In a video shared by JOYFM, the vehicle carrying the election materials arrived without a police escort with party agents and EC officials waiting.
The election materials arrive three minutes past six, and concerns have been raised with the lack of police escorts.
Meanwhile, the 2024 general elections are underway across the country as Ghanaians vote to decide their next president and parliamentarian for the next four years.
In total 18 million registered voters are set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.
In total, 12 candidates are vying for the presidency, with the front runners being the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NDC’s John Mahama, Nana Kwame Bediako, and Alan Kyeremanten.
