A viral video has emerged of the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia receiving powerful prayers from the Founder of Philadelphia Church of Ghana, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.
Dr. Bawumia visited the popular Believers Worship Centre in Kumasi on Sunday, December 1, 2024, along with his running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, alongside many party stalwarts.
In viral videos that have surfaced, Dr. Bawumia was shown wrapped in Prophet Adom Kyei Duah’s white shawl while the prophet, surrounded by other host of other pastors, the man of God prayed for him ahead of the elections on Saturday.
“Lord, it is you who installs kings, and we plead for your favors on you servant,” Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah said.
During the prayer session, Prophet Adom Kyei Duah went under the shawl while the other pastors and congregation continued to pray for Dr. Bawumia.
After the prayer session ended, Dr. Bawumia and Prophet Adom Kyei Duah exchanged handshakes.
