President Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to vote for his Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to continue his work rather than elect someone who would dismantle his achievements.

According to Akufo-Addo, former President John Dramani Mahama would undo everything his government has accomplished, as Mahama has never been supportive of his policies since he assumed office in 2017.

“Vote for someone who will continue from where I left off, and not someone who will come and collapse everything this government has done,” Akufo-Addo stated.

He further emphasized that while Bawumia has pledged to improve the Free SHS program, Mahama has consistently criticized his initiatives. “Bawumia has promised to modify the Free SHS, but Mahama has never been pleased with anything I have done. Don’t vote for him,” Akufo-Addo urged.
