A video has emerged allegedly pointing a finger at Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Alhassan for engaging in vote buying.
In the video, a voter can be seen opening a handbook of Lydia Alhassan which contains a compilation of her works for the constituency thus far.
While the man was flipping through the handbook, he came across one Ghc50.00 note.
He kept flipping with homes of finding another note, and luckily for him, after flipping for a few moments, he came across another Ghc50.00 note.
The man in question reportedly got Ghc100.00 from the MP and her cronies in an attempt to get him to vote for her.
This voter inducement is said to have taken place on the eve of the December 7 polls.
The Ayawaso West Wuogon is one of the keenly contested constituencies in the country. The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) John Dumelo seeks to snatch the seat from Lydia Alhassan.
