A viral video of KT Hammond describing Ghanaian youth as having coconut heads has resurfaced.
KT Hammond in reacting to some Ghanaian youths booing President Akufo-Addo at the Global Citizen Festival.
Speaking in an interview he stated, “We will continue to admonish you the young men and women to be patient. When there’s an issue to be addressed, society always consults the elderly. Not you the young ones, whose heads are like coconuts.
“At least you should have waited for him to even mount a political platform before hooting, and not such an event. Let’s not disrespect the elderly because of politics”.
KT Hammond has since been booted out of parliament in the 2024 elections.
He lost to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Godwin Animli Dorgbadzi-Dorani.
The NDC candidate secured 14,229 of the valid vote cast while KT Hammond secured 13, 275 votes.
