Appiah Stadium, a popular fanatic of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) has been spotted dancing while carrying the bust of former President John Dramani Mahama.
Dressed in the colors of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with number 8 written on his stomach, Appiah Stadium was seen dancing with the bust which had H.E John Dramani Mahama inscribed beneath.
He attracted the attention of many who were present, with everyone pulling out their phones to record him.
However, this display which has received attention and some level of admiration from a section of the Ghanaian public, has also received backlash from the Ghanaian populace.
Some have claimed that unemployment had led to the man putting up the display, adding that in an industrialized economy where he was earning good wages, “he won’t be here doing this,” X user @Shellova posted.
@innocenttt_k also posted, “The guy looks like Bawumiar carrying Mahama”.
With the December 7, general elections 3 days away, the various political parties are rounding up their campaigns.
Although there are 13 candidates contesting for the election, the contest is mainly between the NPP and NDC with the possibility of some ‘smaller’ parties and independent candidates causing an upset in the election.
