Video: Leave me alone, I won’t vote – Woman tells NPP campaign team

A group of New Patriotic Party (NPP) volunteers had a hard time trying to convince a woman to vote for the party in the December 7 polls.

The woman who was adamant on her decision said, “I won’t vote. You can try to convince me till day break but I will still not vote. My children and I will not move an inch to go and vote.”

The NPP volunteers led by a young man attempted to convince the woman otherwise but she will not have it.

“Last 6 years I was the one who dragged crowds of people to go and vote but this time around I will not vote. We will not vote,” she kept saying.

In the video posted on X by

@gyaigyimii other volunteers who came with the young man could sense the woman’s frustration and wished they had not gone to engage her.

“Don’t worry trying to convince me to vote as it will be a waste of time. Save yourself time and energy, and go to a different person to campaign,” she added.

Ghana goes to the polls on Saturday, December 7, 2024 to elect a new president and members of parliament to lead the nation for another four (4) years. Ghanaians are anxious as to which party will the nation’s next president come from and which party will be the majority in parliament.
