Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, Bishop Salifu Amoako has been involved in an accident.
Salifu Amoako’s car along with four others were involved in a multi-vehicle accident near the Tesano-Papaye area on Tuesday, December 24.
According to reports, the accident was caused by a truck reportedly suffering a brake failure leading to damage to all vehicles involved.
Reports indicate that no one was injured in the accident.
However, eyewitnesses say the truck driver fled the scene after the crash, abandoning his vehicle at the accident scene.
Emergency responders arrived promptly and confirmed that while the vehicles, including Bishop Amoako’s, were severely damaged, no lives were lost.
Investigations are underway into the incident and a manhunt for the driver of the truck is also underway.
Bishop Salifu Amoako has recently been in the spotlight following a tragic accident involving his 16-year-old son at East Legon, which resulted in the deaths of two young girls.
The incident has added to the series of unfortunate events linked to the Bishop in recent weeks, including the 6 month sentencing of his son, and a fine totaling Ghc12,000 imposed on him and his wife.
