President Akufo-Addo has mocked John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), touting them as fraudsters.
The president made this known while addressing supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the final rally of the party held at the University of Ghana Sports Directorate yesterday, December 5, 2024.
Speaking to the teeming crowd and giving them reasons to retain the NPP in power, Akufo-Addo broke into a songlike speech, adulterating the popular NDC slogan “3y3 Zu” with the response being “3y3 Za”.
Akufo-Addo out of the blue said, “3y3 Zu”, ”3y3 Azaa” and like clockwork, party faithful started singing the “3y3 Zu”, ”3y3 Azaa” song with him.
The “3y3 Zu”, ”3y3 Azaa” chant, being an indication that the NDC is incapable of fulfilling any of their campaign promises as opposed to the NPP.
The crowd started shouting ‘showboy’ in giving accolades to Akufo-Addo.
Highlighting some of the completed Agenda 111 projects, Akufo-Addo indicated that the NPP government has finished and commissioned 3 hospitals under the project in the Ashanti and Western regions and in Ahanta West.
He charged the crowd to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to continue the legacy he started.
