The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ablekuma West constituency, Ursula Owusu has had her house vandalized.
According to reports, the MPs home was broken into by some of her constituents yesterday.
It is alleged that the constituents suspected her of being engaged in corrupt practices and had hidden proceeds of her corrupt deeds in her home.
From a post made by @StatsGH on X, some persons have jokingly indicated that The Minister for Communications polytank should be checked as well, because she could be hiding some money in there.
This break-in and vandalism into Ursula Owusu’s home comes after she was voted out of parliament at the December 7, 2024 polls.
Ursula Owusu who polled 26,575 votes lost her seat to the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Rev Kwaku Addo who won the seat with 31,866 votes.
Persons supposedly affiliated to the NDC have reportedly launched series of attacks on NPP bigwigs who lost at their seats at December 7 polls. Party executives of both the NDC and NPP have condemned these acts, calling for calm in the country.
