Sam George, the member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram has revealed under President John Mahama 144 NSS staff were prosecuted but today Akufo-Addo is shielding them.
Sam George revealed that when the Flagstaff house learned something fishy was going on at the National Service Secretariat, John Mahama asked the BNI to investigate it.
He asserted that under President Akufo-Addo the same National Service Secretariat people are wearing 300,000-dollar wristwatches because of 40,000 ghost names.
Speaking on TV3’s Key Point show on Saturday, December 14, 2024, Sam George revealed, “When we got wind in the Flagstaff house there was something fishy going on at the National Service Secretariat, he asked the BNI to investigate it, including the director of the National Service Secretariat, and 144 others were prosecuted under President Mahama monies were retrieved people were sent to jail, what have you seen under President Akufo-Addo”.
“The same National Service Secretariat people are wearing 300,000-dollar wristwatches sitting there as public servants at the National Service Secretariat, Richard Mil’s 350,000-dollar wristwatches why are they able to afford that because every month they have created 40,000 ghost names and are making 27.5 million Ghana cedis”.
Sam George added, “And what do you see President Akufo-Addo do shield them, they actually went to court and got their cronies in the judiciary…. “.
The National Service Secretariat went to court to secure an injunction against the Fourth Estate from publishing the NSS scandal, however, there have been leaks of the scandal on social media platforms.
