A video in which a prophet asked Ghanaians to burn his church should the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamud Bawumia loss the December 7, 2024 election has resurfaced.
In the video, Prophet Azuka can be heard confidently predicting victory for Dr. Bawumia ahead of the December 7, 2024 polls.
“Mark today’s date on your calendars. I tell you that Bawumia will win the December 7 polls. I am repeating it for effect, mark today’s date on your calendars. I tell you that Bawumia will win the December 7 polls,” Prophet Azuka stated.
When asked what should be done if his prophecy fails, the prophet stated emphatically, “burn my church.”
Dr. Bawumia conceded defeat to the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama.
Dr. Bawumia’s concession speech is a historical moment in Ghana’s history, as he is the first candidate to ever do so at the early stages of collation.
In a press conference held at his residence, Dr. Bawumia declared John Dramani Mahama winner of the elections, admitting that “our internal collation proves that John Mahama has won the election.”
“Mahama has won the presidential race decisively,” he added.
