Thousands of enthusiastic residents in the Ashanti Region poured out onto the streets today to participate in a campaign walk organized by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The event, which drew an overwhelming crowd, featured the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, who joined supporters to demonstrate unity and energize the base ahead of the December general elections.
The walk commenced at the Aboabo Post Office, weaving through the principal streets of Kumasi amidst chants and music as party faithful displayed NDC-branded paraphernalia. Clad in the party’s signature red, white, green, and black colors, supporters cheered and danced as they marched.
The event culminated at the Kumasi Jubilee Park, where Mr. Mahama addressed the crowd, emphasizing the importance of voting for the NDC to bring relief to Ghanaians facing economic hardships.
He urged participants to remain resolute and committed to the party’s mission of “Resetting Ghana.”
Key party executives, parliamentary candidates, and regional leaders also participated, interacting with the crowd and encouraging unity as the elections approach.
