Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has stated that Liverpool’s 2:0 win over Manchester City will be the last time he will face of with Pep Guardiola’s squad.
His comments come at a time where numerous uncertainties have arisen over his future at Anfield.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Salah said: “Honestly it’s in my head. Until now this is the last City game, I will play for Liverpool so I was just going to enjoy it. The atmosphere was incredible so I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully we just win the league and will see what will happen.”
The weekend prior, Salah after Liverpool’s 3:2 win over Southampton hinted on leaving Anfield.
“Well, we are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club, [so] I’m probably more out than in,” Salah stated.
Mohamed Salah set up Cody Gakpo to score the first goal of the match before he scored a penalty during the second-half of the game after Luis Díaz was fouled by Stefan Ortega.
Liverpool’s win over Manchester City puts them nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table and 11 points clear of the reigning champions, Manchester City.
