Ace Broadcast Journalist Bridget Otoo has alleged that the NPP has gone to connive with the Electoral Commission to swap pink sheets in their favor.
According to Bridget Otoo, the Electoral Commission will recollate some parliamentary results today.
Bridget Otoo further stated that the Electoral Commission is trying to tell Ghanaians who monitored the elections and counted with the EC officials at the constituency level are idiots.
She wrote on X, “They have gone to connive with EC, swapped pink sheets, and are coming to recollate tomorrow! If NDC agrees, they are not ready to govern! Is EC trying to tell us those of us who monitored the elections and counted with them at the constituency level are idiots?”
Bridget Otoo in an earlier post on X, also asserted that if John Mahama had not won the 2024 elections emphatically the EC chairperson Jean Mensa would have been recollating John Mahama’s numbers to give the win to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Meanwhile, the NDC has so far won some 185 parliamentary seats, with the NPP winning about 80 seats, with 6 seats yet to be officially declared by the Electoral Commission.
However, concerns have been raised by the NPP about some of the seats the NDC has won in the parliamentary elections.
