A beneficiary of the free SHS has cried out about the free SHS education by the NPP government.
According to the student, the Free Senior High School is a good policy, but they are suffering due to the lack of accommodation and the food they eat is not good.
Speaking during an interview, at the Possibilities Victory Rally yesterday the Free SHS beneficiary stated, “Yes, this is my third year, January I’m going to my third year, it should continue, the free SHS is good, but we are suffering”.
“There is no place for us to sleep, and the food is not good, and so many more”, he added.
The student further lamented, “Teachers don’t come to class, the food is not good, there is no place to sleep, and it is Free SHS, we are just go to school then final year we write our exams and fail, failing it is possible”.
Senior High School across the country continues to battle with serious food shortages, with students being forced to eat the same meals up to three times daily.
