”The incoming president” – Bawumia hailed as he votes

Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was hailed as Ghana’s “incoming president” when he cast his ballot at the Walewale constituency today.

Dr. Bawumia who was in a white smock went through the process at his polling station to cast his vote.

While going through the process, someone could be heard shouting, “the incoming president, the incoming president” through out the process.

Dr. Bawumia who could hear the person could not help but smile whenever he heard the phrase, “the incoming president.”

Ghana’s 2024 general elections is currently underway across the country as Ghanaians vote to decide their next president and parliamentarian for the next four years.

In total 18 million registered voters are set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.
