In a post on his official Facebook page, Mahama shared a video of himself in what appeared to be the party’s strong room, calculating election figures alongside his team. Accompanying the video was a simple message: “Thank you Ghana.”

The post has since garnered widespread attention, with supporters interpreting it as a sign of confidence in the electoral outcome.

Meanwhile, Jean Mensa, the Electoral Commissioner and returning officer for the presidential election, is yet to announce official results. The delay has heightened anticipation across the country as Ghanaians eagerly await the final declaration.

Political observers have noted that Mahama’s post, reflects his appreciation for the support received during the election campaign and underscores his commitment to the democratic process.

The election has been closely contested, and the Electoral Commission has urged calm and patience as it ensures a transparent collation and declaration process.
