In a shocking event, people of the Gushegu constituency have jubilated endlessly over the commissioning of a street light in their community.
In a video posted by @eddie_wrt on X, the Member of Parliament of Gushegu Alhassan Tampuli, was seen commissioning a single street light which he had fixed in the community.
To the surprise of many, the “switiching on of the light” ceremony saw hundreds of community members coming out in their numbers to see the lights.
After saying a short prayer, the MP switched on the light and what happened will shock you.
The residents of Gushegu erupted into a loud appaluse and screamed joyously after the lights came on.
In the video, Alhassan Tampuli could be seen beaming with smiles after the ceremony and the applause that followed.
Stable electricity, potable water and some basic necessities of life which are abundant in Ghana’s capital and other developed areas in the country are deemed a luxury in some remote parts of the country.
