Stats GH a media and news company has told Ghanaians to sell their shares in some enterprises associated with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to Stats GH, these enterprises associated with the governing New Patriotic Party are about to lose business so Ghanaians owning shares in those companies must sell them.
Stats GH wrote on X, “Sell your shares in Enterprise Insurance. They are about to lose business. Data Bank shares too. Dump them”.
Enterprise Insurance and Data Bank is owned by Ghana’s former finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
The National Democratic Congress has threatened to jail Ken Ofori Atta even if he dies according to Deputy General Secretary Mustapha Gbande, Ken Ofori Atta’s dead body would be jailed even if he died including 58 government appointees.
The Stats GH statement on X comes after the NPP presidential candidate conceded defeat to President-elect John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking to Ghanaians on Sunday, December 8, Dr Bawumia detailed, “We will not be destructive opposition even though we will subject the next government to strict scrutiny. We will regroup and come back stronger”.
“Let me say the data indicate former president Mahama has won the presidential election decisively. The NDC has also won the parliamentary elections even though we await the final collation of seats”, he boldly stated.
Dr. Bawumia added, “I just called HE John Mahama to congratulate you.”
Meanwhile, Ghanaians are still waiting on the Electoral Commissioner chairperson Madam Jean Mensa to officially declare the results of the 2024 presidential elections.
