The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has won an overwhelming number of seats in the December 7, 2024 polls.

Although the Electoral Commission (EC) is yet to declare the results officially, the NDC’s records from the various polling stations show that they are an overwhelming majority in the next parliament.

The NDC also made history by winning in some constituencies they had never won in Ghana’s political history, including a victory by John Dumelo in the Ayawaso West Wuogon, a first in 24 years.
