Russia has accused the United States of America of allegedly conducting biological research in Ghana.
According to reports Russian has accused the US of biological warfare activities in other African nations like Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and Djibouti.
The Russians claims the US are studying diseases and isolating pathogens of infectious diseases.
A Facebook post by DW Africa on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, made this allegations public.
The information gathered also suggests the US has reportedly set up a a joint medical research Centre and laboratory in Nigeria this year, in Kenya a military medical center was established to monitor the spread of infectious diseases in Central Africa.
Alexey Shevtsov, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council has claimed the US is developing biological weapons targeted at specific groups.
The relations between the two power houses countries have been very strain following Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Meanwhile, the United States have denied the allegations maintaining their research in Africa countries are purposely for public health.
