Kenyan Senator Gloria Orwoba has settle rumors of an alleged romantic relationship between her and former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor.
Her announcement comes amid a commotion of media rumors that were sparked by a video that purported to show Kufuor caressing Orwoba’s growing baby belly, which raised questions about the child’s father.
The Nairobian Newspaper, on Friday, December 20, 2024, published news article with the title, “Orwoba love affair with President Kufuor: Bundle of Joy. Gloria delivered a bouncing baby boy from her relationship with a former Ghanaian leader but refused to disclose more about their dating life.”
Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Nairobian she stated, “That is me in the video, and that is the former President. We don’t discuss our personal lives.”
She however denied online rumors about the child’s father and acknowledged the birth of her child
In a statement she stated, “For most of my career, I have endured various forms of violence, both verbal and physical, and have consistently stood up against patriarchal systems. However, this unwarranted invasion of my private life, particularly regarding a supposed affair with H.E. John Kufuor, is deeply disappointing”.
