Police refutes claim over alleged kidnapping of a NADMO Officer

The Ghana Police Service has dispelled rumors about the kidnapping of the Director- General of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Eric Agyemang- Prempeh.

According to the police, the claims of his kidnapping are completely untrue.

The Police disclosed that, they have been in contact with him after the rumours surfaced.

The Police in a statement also noted that, Eric Agyemang Prempeh was supported with security by the police as he contested the Ahafo Ano North parliamentary seat in the Ashanti Region.

The police urged the public to disregard such rumors.

“We wish to categorically state that this claim is false and the Police have been in contact with him and providing him with all security support he needs,” portions of their statement read.
