The Head of Corporate Communications at the Ghana National Gas Company Limited, Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, has been blamed for the mob that besieged the Corporate Office of the company yesterday, December 10, 2024.
Some unidentified youth stormed the head office of Ghana Gas Company Limited yesterday.
The youth were captured in a video attempting to forcibly open the main gate to the Ghana Gas premises.
It took efforts of a joint security taskforce of soldiers and policemen to disperse the crowd and ease tensions at the company’s premises.
Reacting to the youth’s actions on her X page, Ghanaian journalist, wrote, “Owusu Bempah is the reason those guys went to Ghana Gas.”
She accused Owusu Bempah of being disrespectful to John Dramani Mahama for an extensive period of time, and that has angered the youth who wanted to take him on.
Bridget Otoo however advised the irate youth against besieging the offices of the Ghana National Gas Company Limited.
“Kindly retreat, there’s time to deal with all this the right way…” she added.
Ernest Owusu Bempah is also the deputy Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party and has not be generous of his critic of former President John Dramani Mahama while he was in opposition.
