The member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram Sam George has prayed to God ahead of the election day.

According to Sam George, he is going into yet another battle as Ghana is bleeding and requires healing.

Sam George wrote on X, “Today your son goes into battle again. I am confident that you go before me and the NDC. Our Nation bleeds and requires healing. Guide and guard the process today”.

“May the elections be peaceful everywhere. May our roads be safe as people travel to exercise their franchise. May the Host of Heaven go with the NDC as we seek a reset of our land”, he wrote.

Sam George further called on the wrath of God to destroy anyone who seeks violence in the elections today, “In your wrath, destroy anyone who seeks violence. In your anger, visit mayhem on anyone who plots to subvert the will of the people. May we end today with the victory of the NDC and John Dramani Mahama”, he wrote.

Meanwhile, the 2024 general elections are underway as Ghanaians vote to decide their next president and parliamentarian for the next four years.
