The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate in the Ledzokuku constituency, Dr Bernard Okoe Boye has conceded defeat.
Benjamin Nartey Ayiku, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku constituency in Greater Accra has retained the seat.
The New Patriotic Party’s Bernard Okoe Boye could not stage a comeback after he lost the seat to Nartey Ayiku in the 2020 election.
The NDC has won an overwhelming majority in the parliamentary polls.
Although the EC is yet to declare their official results, supporters of the NDC are rejoicing, especially following the concession speech from Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate.
