Sammi Awuku, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, Akuapem North has predicted a marginal win for the NPP in the Greater Accra Region.
According to Sammi Awuku, no ruling party wins the capital for one reason or the other.
Sammi Awuku asserted that Greater Accra is the epicenter of the propaganda machinery in Ghana’s politics.
Speaking to GHONE TV, Sammy Awuku detailed, “I think the NPP will remain strongly competitive in Greater Accra, I am tipping the NPP to win by a whisker in Greater Accra, but I don’t predict a massive win for the NPP in Greater Accra, but I tip NPP to win marginally”.
“If you look at the NPP 2020 election results we lost Greater Accra, but we won both the presidential and parliamentary”, he added.
Sammy Awuku further revealed, “No ruling party wins the capital, one reason or the other, no ruling party wins the capital, it is the epicenter of the propaganda, I am not saying the NPP will lose Greater Accra, but in 2020 even though the NPP lost”.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) yesterday held its final rally ahead of the 2024 elections tomorrow.
Ghanaians go to the polls tomorrow to decide their next president and members of parliament for the next four years.
