Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has openly criticized the NPP for its loss in the 2024 general elections, attributing the defeat to what he described as “fantastically corrupt” leadership and a poorly executed campaign strategy.
According to Cudjoe, the party’s arrogance, laziness, and internal disarray contributed significantly to the loss, particularly their failure to resonate with the electorate.
“NPP lost because one, they were exceedingly lazy, they were fantastically corrupt, they were innately arrogant.”
an interview on Channel One TV’s Big Issue, Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa also pointed out that despite having potential support from regions like Ashanti, the NPP squandered their chances with ineffective leadership and mismanagement of key political moments.
“I would never run such a campaign even if he was giving money to run such a campaign.”
.@lordcudjoe discusses how NPP running mate Matthew Opoku Prempeh may have contributed to the party’s defeat in the December 7, 2024 elections on #TheBigIssue.
