The voting process at the St. Theresa’s School polling station in the Okaikwei South constituency came to a standstill after a group affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were caught with thumb printed ballot papers.
The countless ballot papers were already thumb printed and being kept in a pick-up truck.
In the video shared on X, the ballot papers had been thumb printed in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
A policeman was on the scene trying to restore calm after the incident as the youth present were visibly angry.
This is not the only incident to have developed at the St Theresa School polling station.
Earlier in the day, a man identified as Micheal Allotey, a party agent was caught carrying a gun concealed in his clothing.
It is unclear which of the political parties he is an agent for. The police upon swift action spotted and whisked him away.
