Joseph Yamin the National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has alleged that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is selling state V8s to people around them for GH¢20,000.
According to Joseph Yamin who is the chair of the Temporal Assets Recovery Committee (TAR), the Akufo-Addo Bawumia government is selling sate vehicles cheaply to bodyguards and persons who served in their government.
Speaking on Ultimate FM’s Cup of Tea he detailed, “The NPP are selling cars to people around them. The bodyguards and the people around Akufo Addo are being given V8s for GH¢20,000,”
Joseph Yammin also disclosed they recovered over 20 Land Cruisers in Accra through their task force.
The NDC man added, “Today, as I speak to you, all regional organizers are heads of this very task force established to ensure that people don’t loot, steal, and benefit from the state when they do not deserve it,”
“If there are witches, they need to be hunted. Do you know the evil witches do and you think if they are there, they shouldn’t be hunted? If we identify the witch, we will haunt the witch”, he reiterated.
Meanwhile, John Mahama has established a five-member Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team for intelligence gathering on present government appointees who have looted state assets.
