A National Democratic Congress (NDC) Margaret Ansei has said the NPP bigwigs were booted out of parliament because they disrespected Ghanaians.
According to the NDC communicator, the NPP MPs who lost their seats have a common thing that runs through them.
Speaking on Metro TV, Margaret Ansei stated, “The disrespect, there are big people who fell on Saturday put all of them together and check the character there is one thing that runs through them, we need to respect the people that give us the power”.
“The region that made you a president and you tell them, nobody forces you to vote NPP they won’t vote”, she reiterated.
She further detailed President Akufo-Addo disrespected the Ashanti Region who made him president, saying, “When President Nana Addo went to the Ashanti region there was a radio interview, there was a message that from a constituency demanding their road to be fixed, he told them he hasn’t forced anyone to vote for them”.
“And they have done it, if you build heaven for me and you disrespect me what do you make of me, the disrespect that is why I said we politicians must not take Ghanaians for granted because their anger builds over time”.
