A throwback video of the member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has surfaced after he was named the chair of Mahama’s ORAL Team.
The Transition Team of President-elect John Dramani Mahama today December 18, 2024, unveiled a preparatory team to drive his anti-corruption agenda.
Spokesperson Felix Kwakye of John Mahama’s transition team in a statement disclosed the information.
Speaking during the NDC manifesto launch Ablakwa stated, “Nobody will get away with the looting that has happened in our country, all the scandals, that we have seen from the National Cathedral, from PDS, from the Covid-19, Agyapa, Skytrain, Pwalugu dam, the appearance fees, the ambulance spare parts president Mahama says he is going to launch an impartial, credible inquiry and forensic audit into all these loots”.
“And for those of you who have been asking brilliant proposals from President Mahama on how is he going to fund them, Operation Recover All Loot will help us, to fund this project a great deal he added.
Ablakwa further gave some breakdown of the looted funds, saying, “As we speak a gentleman called Carrie Sames is keeping our 6 million dollars in America, some Shanky Sheiks are keeping our 2.4 million dollars in Dubai under a so-called sputnik V scandal, Skytrain 2 million dollars, Agyapa 12 million dollars, Pwalugu 11.9 million dollars we are saying operation recover all loot will retrieve all of these noted funds for national development”.
Meanwhile, the team has been tasked with laying the groundwork for Mahama Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).
The team includes Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman, Mr. Daniel Domelevo – Former Auditor-General, COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private Legal Practitioner, and Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative Journalist.
