Sammi Awuku, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, Akuapem North has said no ruling party wins the capital for one reason or the other.
According to Sammi Awuku, Sammi Awuku Greater Accra is the epicenter of the propaganda machinery in Ghana’s politics.
He boldly claimed the NPP is going to win the Greater Accra marginally in the 2024 elections.
Speaking to GHONE TV, Sammy Awuku detailed, “No ruling party wins the capital, one reason or the other, no ruling party wins the capital, it is the epicenter of the propaganda, I am not saying the NPP will lose Greater Accra, but in 2020 even though the NPP lost”.
Sammy Awuku further stated, “I think the NPP will remain strongly competitive in Greater Accra, I am tipping the NPP to win by a whisker in Greater Accra, but I don’t predict a massive win for the NPP in Greater Accra, but I tip NPP to win marginally”.
“If you look at the NPP 2020 election results we lost Greater Accra, but we won both the presidential and parliamentary”, he added.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) yesterday held its final rally ahead of the 2024 elections tomorrow.
Ghanaians go to the polls tomorrow to decide their next president and members of parliament for the next four years.
