The National Democratic Congress (NDC), Faustina Elikplim Akurugu Parliamentary Candidate for Dome Kwabenya, has won the Dome Kwabenya seat.

Faustina Elikplim Akurugu won with 51,634 votes while Mike Oquaye Jnr trailed with 50,477 votes.
The Dome Kwabenya election process was marked by a series of conflicts between supporters of both the NPP and NDC, with each side accusing the other of attempting to rig the elections.
Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party is facing major defeats in the 2024 parliamentary elections, as several prominent Members of Parliament lose their seats to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
