The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has won an overwhelming number of seats in the December 7, 2024 polls.

This NDC’s victory is unprecedented as it won some seats it had never won in its history and also snatched some parliamentary seats from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in their strongholds.
Some of the surprising wins include, Dome Kwabenya, Ayawaso West Wuogon, Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ablekuma West.
in total, the NDC is said to have won 188 parliamentary 85 seats with 3 seats being won by Independent candidates,
