Gomoa Central Independent Parliamentary Candidate, Kwame Asare Obeng commonly known as A-Plus has alleged that the National Democratic Congress sold Ghana films which is now called TV3 for $5 million.
According to A Plus, he believes the NDC sold it to themselves but if he speaks they will take him to court because he does not have evidence.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz show, A Plus revealed, “Sammy says they will create a TV channel or am I telling lies, to promote Ghana movies like Africa Magic. What we are using GBC for is very easy to put this in there”.
“They have done well but the Ghana film issue NDC is part of it that it has reached where it is, in 1948 Gold Coast film unit was built. Kwame Nkrumah built the first film-proper theatres like the ones in Hollywood and the rest; it was the biggest in the whole of West Africa which is what is called TV3 today”.
A Plus further detailed, “The Ghana film was sold, it was sold to a white man who came from abroad, Malaysia people, it was sold under the NDC that the Ghana film company was sold, they sold it for 5 million dollars, even the land how much is it”.
“When they were selling it I am sure they sold it for themselves if I speak they will take me to court because they will say I don’t have evidence, they sold it to themselves that was done by the old men and now Sammy Gyamfi and the rest have taken over the NDC”, he added.
