Ghanaian journalist, Bridget Otoo says the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has won all seats in the Western Region.
Her claims come as a surprise to many in the country, with X users seeking to confirm this.
Some key upsets in the region include; Tourism minister Andrew Egyapa Mercer who lost his seat .

Blay Nyameke Armah (NDC) – 14, 558
Rejected ballot – 176
Total valid votes – 25,642
Total votes cast – 25,818
The EC closed polls on Saturday, December, 2024 at 5pm.
Votes are now trickling in and from the numbers so far, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is leading currently.
Also, some big names in parliament, including ministers of state have lost their seats.
As the day evolves, the polls will be consolidated and the final results declared latest by Monday.
