Members of Parliament of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), posed with dancing stances after intercepting Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) on the floor of parliament.
The two MPs, Samuel Nartey George of the Ningo Prampram constituency, and Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka of the Asawase constituency could be seen in a picture with stances interpreted as dance moves.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was the Vice-Presidential candidate of the NPP which had Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as their Presidential candidate in the December 7, 2024 general elections.
The duo lost the election as they were beaten by the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama and his Vice-Presidential candidate, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
Per the results declared from 267 constituencies, excluding nine constituencies, John and Jane polled 6,328,397 votes representing 56.55 per cent of the valid votes cast, while Bawumia and NAPO managed 4,657,304 votes representing 41.61 per cent of the valid votes cast.
