NDC allegedly seizes 500,000 ballot papers in Ashanti Region

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, has reportedly seized over 500,000 ballot papers.

The party’s National Organizer, Joseph Yamin made this revelation in a Facebook live post.

According to him, the party’s intelligence operatives in the region intercepted information regarding the ballot papers which were hidden in a building at Kwadaso SDA.

The police is yet to corroborate the story being told by Joseph Yamin and his team.

“These are the ballot papers. We have been tracking this information since yesterday throughout the night to the point that we gave up. All these you see are ballot papers. The whole world should see it,” he was heard saying in a Facebook live stream.

The December 7 general election has been closed.

In total 18 million registered voters were set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.

The coming hours are critical as the entire nation will be glued to the various media outlets for the results of the elections.
