The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has made a shocking claim against President Akufo-Addo.
According to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, President Akufo Addo said foolish people are used to fighting for power.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia noted that looking at Akufo-Addo’s steps in office he has implemented what he stated with Chairman Wontumi and Abronye being made regional chairman of the NPP.
Speaking on Onua TV, Asiedu Nketia stated, “Nana Addo said we use foolish people to fight for power, he is always saying that, when he became their party leader, I began to see his steps he was implementing exactly what he believed in”.
“Did you see what he did to Afoko and Agyapong and the people he replaced them with, do you know how Chairman Wontumi became Regional Chairman, he and a first-class lawyer Hon. Osei Prempeh went for a contest and Nana Addo went to support him”.
The NDC chairman further added, “He had a huge parliamentary experience, he and Wontumi contested and Akufo-Addo supported Wontumi to defeat Osei Prempeh. Ask about Brong Ahafo who contested with Abronye, that they gave regional chairman to Abronye”.
“If you look at Brong Ahafo it is Busia’s party, because of that I was saying if Busia was alive, he would have voted for the NDC, we have won in his area, and all the three seats we have won” he added.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia further emphasized saying “It was effective for him, what made it effective for him is if you send them to go and do any bad thing that will help you win power they will go because they do not have any reputation to protect”.
