A throwback video of Investigative Journalist and Businessman, Raymond Archer has surfaced after he was named a member of Mahama’s ORAL Team.
The Transition Team of President-elect John Dramani Mahama today December 18, 2024, unveiled a preparatory team to drive his anti-corruption agenda. Spokesperson Felix Kwakye of John Mahama’s transition team in a statement disclosed the information.
According to Raymond Archer, McDan continues to enjoy under the Akufo-Addo Bawumia government and should pray that the NPP stays in government forever.
Speaking on Radio Gold, Raymond Archer said, “Now they came for my business, Mcdan he has to pray, I don’t talk too much but he has to pray, that his government stays in office forever, now he has the Mcdan group when they came into office you know the first thing they did, the guy who was supposed to be a millionaire the finance minister had to take money from ADB to give him to do a contract at COCOBOD”.
“If everyone is given the opportunity no one will sleep, now a whole lagoon natural resource was seized and given to him, and all the people who lived on that lagoon about 4000 to 5000 livelihoods have been taken and given to one man”, he added.
Raymond Archer added, “Not just that, he has Mcdan Aviation, he has another company in mining, and he has Electrochem he is building his empire while trampling on other people it who they are it what they have always done”.
In 2020 officials of Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited pulled down a structure belonging to Raymond Archer following a redevelopment project to be undertaken at the Trade Fair Center.
Mcdan is a Board Chairman of the Ghana Trade Fair Company.
The ORAL team includes Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman, Mr. Daniel Domelevo – Former Auditor-General, COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private Legal Practitioner, and Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative Journalist.
