A man has been arrested for verbally attacking an Electoral Commission.
According to reports, the incident happened at the St. Theresa’s School polling center.
The information gathered is that upon his arrest, the police retrieved a pistol in his possession.
In a video shared by Olele Salvador, the man was being taken away by a group of Policemen.
The 2024 general elections are underway across the country as Ghanaians vote to decide their next president and parliamentarian for the next four years.
In total 18 million registered voters are set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.
In total, 12 candidates are vying for the presidency, with the front runners being the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NDC’s John Mahama, Nana Kwame Bediako, and Alan Kyeremanten.
