Running mate for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as Napo, has made a bold claim regarding President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s promises for the 2024 elections.
According to Napo, Mahama pledged that he would bring the dollar exchange rate back to GHC 5, reduce the price of kenkey to just GHC 1, and provide all Ghanaians with “nkokonketekete.”
However, there is no evidence or official statement from Mahama himself making such a claim.

Speaking to the press corp, Dr. Prempeh emphasized that Ghanaians had already witnessed the achievements of the Akufo-Addo administration.
Despite the administration’s efforts, Ghanaians made their decision in the polls, he said.
