“Mahama has won the Presidential race decisively” – Bawumia admits

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has conceded defeat in the December 7, 2024 elections.

Dr. Bawumia declared John Dramani Mahama winner of the elections, admitting that “our internal collation proves that John Mahama has won the election.”

Although the Electoral Commission (EC) is yet to declare the results, Dr. Bawumia says the results will not change.

“Mahama has won the presidential race decisively,” he added.

He pledged his full support to John Mahama in the transition process for the business of Ghana to continue smoothly.

“We have conceded defeat like any democrat will do but we have not abandoned the fight to transform the society. we will not be a disruptive opposition,” he stated.
