John Dumelo, the elected member of parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon has said if he had lost again Ghanaians would have been trolling him by now.
According to John Dumelo, God is good for not allowing him to face yet another defeat in the parliamentary elections.
John Dumelo 2020 lost to NPP Lydia Alhassan and was trolled on all social media platforms, particularly on Twitter now X.
He wrote on X, “Like by now boys will be trolling me on Twitter that I’ve lost again…..God is good paa oooo”
According to the official result of the EC, John Dumelo secured 40,561 votes while incumbent Lydia Alhassan secured 27,377 votes.
Meanwhile, speaking to his constituent after he was declared winner John Dumelo stated, “We have sent the elephant back into the bush, the elephant is not coming back outside again, we have beaten them by 13,000 votes in Ayawaso West Wuogon, this seat is not going back to the NPP ever again, we have taken back our seat”.
